Experienced textile artist with 25 yeasr experience. History of creating, deveoping and marking exhibits. Juried Artist member of STudio Artist Quilts Association(SAQA). REgional Reprpestitive for SAQA for 4 years. Successful career as chef in various food service venues, including teaching in higher education. Solo exhibitions in VA, OR and DE. Published in Quilitng Arts Magazine and SAQA ARt Journal

Statement

I am a Textile artist working with hand dyed and commercial cotton fabrics. As an chef, I have spent years in kitchen's- also called Back of the House. My artwork reflects years to serving people. I work with digital photographs as inspiration, or a recipe, or the culture of food and the table
